Jean Bucquet is a Franco-American writer, essayist, and cross-cultural consultant. For nearly forty years, he worked at the crossroads of languages, cultures, and worldviews, in close contact with people from many different backgrounds. That long experience gave him a deep sensitivity to human complexity, wounded memory, invisible loyalties, and the quiet forces that shape a life. In both his novels and essays, he explores memory, identity, moral conflict, solitude, love, justice, and the fragile dignity of being human. His writing seeks less to judge than to illuminate, and less to conclude than to reveal the hidden lines of fracture and resilience within individuals and societies. Founder of JB Cross-Cultural Consulting, Jean Bucquet lives in the United States.
